Personal data deletion
Last updated: September 18, 2026
If you have booked an appointment at Montano Barber Studio or received WhatsApp messages from us, you can ask us to delete the personal data we hold about you. Here we explain what that data is, how to request deletion, and what happens next.
What data we keep
To manage your appointments and send you automatic reminders through the WhatsApp Business API, we keep:
- Your first and last name.
- Your phone number (or the contact detail you chose when booking).
- Your appointment history: services, dates and times booked.
- The WhatsApp messages exchanged with you about your appointments.
How to request deletion
You can ask us to delete your data through either of these channels:
- By email to admin@montanobarber.es, with the subject “Data deletion”.
- By WhatsApp to +34641058166, saying that you want your data deleted.
What to include in your request
So we can find your data and confirm the request is yours, tell us your name and the phone number linked to your appointments or to the messages you received. If you write to us from that same WhatsApp number, nothing else is needed.
If we cannot identify you with the information provided, we will ask for an additional detail before proceeding.
Response time
We will handle your request within 30 days of receiving it, and we will confirm through the same channel once the deletion is done. If the case is complex and we need more time, we will let you know within that period.
What gets deleted
We delete your name, phone number, appointment history and the associated WhatsApp messages, both from our appointment management system (Highstack Scheduling, acting as our data processor) and from our WhatsApp Business account. Any upcoming appointments will be cancelled.
Meta, as the provider of the WhatsApp Business Platform, may retain copies of messages under its own privacy policy, which is outside our control.
What data we may retain
This site does not process payments or collect payment data. However, if an invoice was issued in your name for a service provided at the barbershop, we are required to keep the data on that invoice for the periods set by tax and accounting law. That data is blocked — used only to respond to the competent authorities — and deleted once the period expires.
More information
Details of how we process your data and the other rights you can exercise (access, rectification, objection, restriction and portability) are in our Privacy Policy, available at /en/privacy.
The data controller is Reinaldo Guevara, tax ID Z1499923Y, registered at C. de Hermosilla, 132, Salamanca, 28028, Madrid. If you believe we have not handled your request correctly, you can file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es).
